Responsibilities:
The Bank Controller should have the following skills:
- Have 4-5 years Public Accounting or Banking experience
- A strong systems background and process management skills.
- Proficient in Bank Financial Reporting, call reports with a strong understanding of GAAP
- Have in-depth knowledge of proper internal controls.
- Individual needs to be a self-starter who can take an active lead in priority projects.
- Bachelors degree with emphasis in accounting, prefer a CPA license.
The Bank Controller will have the following duties:
- Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Manages Accounting department and interacts with Bank staff.
- Participates in Regulatory reporting, audits and Budget planning.
